Brokerage fees (commissions) are negotiable with the broker. There is no "standard" commission. Fees vary according to the type of property being listed, its location, the difficulties the broker anticipates in finding a buyer and bringing the transaction to a close, and other factors. Discuss fees with your broker to arrive at an agreement about how much you will pay and what your broker is agreeing to do.
